The Prince’s oil

The Mayor of Andora, Mauro Demichelis, presented Prince Albert II of Monaco with a highly symbolic institutional gift: Gandolfi olive oil, a product created by a start-up founded by young entrepreneur Serena Natta from Andora.

This is a 100% Ligurian extra virgin olive oil made from Taggiasca olives, distinguished by a unique feature: it is enriched with 24 carat edible gold, a symbol of exclusivity and refinement.

The start-up aims to position itself in the extra-luxury segment by combining the region’s agricultural tradition with aesthetic innovation capable of engaging international markets. A project that brings together deep roots and a global vision, embodying the spirit of a new generation of entrepreneurs committed to elevating Made in Italy as an expression of contemporary luxury.

Extra virgin olive oil, enhanced with edible gold leaves and branded Gandolfi, is produced in the Ligurian Riviera di Ponente by a start-up founded by young Andora entrepreneur Serena Natta.

The luxurious product, presented in handcrafted glass bottles, is destined for the tables of oil magnates, Middle Eastern markets, and beyond.

Dubbed the “prince” of gifts (accompanied by a video highlighting its preparation and exceptional quality), it was presented by Andora to Prince Albert II, alongside a well-received assortment of local Andora specialties.

OF THE EVENT

“Ambitious, Deeply Rooted, and Globally Oriented Vision”

The product represents the perfect synthesis between Italian excellence in both food and craftsmanship. The bottle, made of Italian crystal mouth-blown by Tuscan artisans with generations of experience, contains extra virgin olive oil enriched with 24-carat edible gold leaves, painstakingly hand-beaten in the heart of Venice.

The founder chose to transform a local treasure — the Taggiasca olive — into a high-quality product capable of conquering the most exclusive global markets, with particular focus on Gulf countries where commercial contacts have already been established, such as Qatar, which shows strong interest in high-end Italian gourmet products.

“Our goal is to start an internationalization process, positioning the product in high-potential niche markets, particularly in the Gulf countries,” explains Serena Natta, who experienced the thrill of presenting the precious bottle of olive oil to Prince Albert II of Monaco.

THE VISION

“Gandolfi doesn’t just follow tradition: it preserves it with respect, enhances it with love, and projects it into the future with a young, international, and contemporary sensibility.”
